External Weblink

Purpose

The External Weblink node allows users to redirect customers to an external webpage directly from the chatbot. This is useful when additional information needs to be presented outside the chatbot interface.

How it works?

- The user configures a weblink that the customer will be redirected to.
- When a customer interacts with the chatbot and reaches this node, they are taken to the specified webpage.

Use case example

A student messages their school's WhatsApp chatbot asking about their exam results. Instead of manually checking and sending individual results via chat, the chatbot uses the External Weblink node to direct the student to the official results portal.  

The link will have the student's roll number,class and name embedded in the url an when the student clicks on the link, they are taken directly to the results page, where their scores are displayed automatically—without needing to log in or enter additional details. This makes the process quick, seamless, and hassle-free.
