Once you are within the Chatflow interface you will be able to see the "Geo Location node" under the Basic Message category on the right hand side of the page.
How to use the Geo Location Node?
- Click on the Geo Location Node from the Node's Drawer on the right side of the screen
- Drag the node in the Chatflow canvas
- Now click on the node in the canvas it will select the node and also open a properties drawer on the right side of the screen. This drawer will allow you to change the settings and properties of the selected node.
- On the property drawer the first property is "Node Title". This allows you to rename the text written on the node. This helps you to identify the purpose of the node in the chatflow. The text written on the node title does not get printed in the conversation.
- For this example we will enter "Business Address" as the node title.
- The next option is "Select Location Type". This will give you multiple options to select the location in this node. There are two ways in which you can add the location. They are as follows.
- Select On Map- Once you choose the option "Select on Map" you have to simply search the address whose location you want to display in the conversation on the map. Click on the location that matches your one. Once selected you can also write the name of the location and the address as per your convenience in the "Location Details" field given below.
Enter Coordinates- After choosing the option" Enter Coordinates", you can directly enter the Google Coordinates if the desired location cannot be found on map. There will be two fields to add the coordinates. In the first field you need to add latitude and in the second one you need to add the longitude.
To know the Coordinates of the location follow these steps:
- Go to Google Maps
- Search for the address
- Right click on it
- Copy the Coordinates and paste it on a notepad
- Copy and paste the first value which is the latitude in the first field
- Copy and paste the second value which is the longitude value in the second field and your address will be added.
- Once it is done, enter the name of the location and the address in the "Location Details" field below.
- Click on Save on the top left corner to save the changes.
